Wondering what’s on my summer bucket list? It includes cool mountain water and warm sunshine with puppy cuddles and my husband in tow. This year I plan to be intentional about what’s on my summer bucket list.
The North Carolina mountains are pretty much my favorite place. I even have a mountain range of Asheville, NC tattooed on my foot and I went to college in the mountains. For whatever reason, the mountain air just brings so much peace to my soul. So, I’m looking forward to spending a ton of time in the mountains this summer. Specifically, here’s what I want to do:
- Kayak down the French Broad
- Hike 3 new trails
- Pick fresh blackberries
- Picnic with the puppies
- Go camping
Yall know that my dogs are a huge part of my life. If I could take them everywhere a human is allowed, I totally would! Here are a few things on my summer bucket list focusing on my fur kids:
- Take them to a swimming hole (probably in the mountains!)
- Do a photo shoot with them
- Let them play in the sprinkler
- Get them a pup cup or two from pelican’s sno balls
My husband is my life partner and we pretty much do everything together so many of the items listed above will include him. However, I wanted to make a list of things for just us to do together. I am not sure what he will think of this list, as I have not yet shared it with him. Ha! Travis is pretty excited about the LuLaRoe trip because we are going to Anaheim, California and it will be his very first visit to any Disney theme park! This will also be our first time flying together. I hope he knows he is in for an experience with me.
- Attend LuLaRoe Convention as a working team!
- Go to the movies (not just a streaming service at home)
- Go to a brand new place together
- Make something (not a baby)
- Get a couple’s massage
After putting this list together, I’m getting super excited for summer. What’s on your summer bucket list?
